HOUSING: Homestays, dormitories, private accommodations RESIDENT DIRECTOR: Chiang Mai University College Year in Thailand program staff INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL: Students are responsible for arranging their own transportation to Chiang Mai but are given guidelines for arrival dates. VISA: A student visa is required for U.S. citizens prior to departure. Participants must have a passport valid for six months after the end of the program. INSURANCE: All participants in IAP programs are enrolled in health insurance through Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI) and the cost of the insurance coverage is included in program fees. MISCELLANEOUS: It is not possible to travel outside of Thailand during the school year or students will lose their student status.
