Country: Choose the country where you would
like to study. Please note that some programs take place
in multiple countries, while other programs may have different
sites throughout the world (i.e. "Worldwide").
Duration: Choose which duration you would
like to study abroad. Some durations may differ from the
UW-Madison calendar due to differences in academic calendars
or the presence of a pre-session (e.g. pre-semester language
course).
Academic Standing: Choose the class standing
you will have at the start of the program. You may apply
for most programs in which you do not meet the class standing
at the time of application, as long as you achieve that standing
by the start of the program.
Freshman - 23 credits or less
Sophomore - 24 to 53 credits
Junior - 54 to 85 credits
Senior - 86 credits and above
Graduate Student

Language: Choose the language of instruction for your program. For example, if you wish to take courses taught primarily in English, choose "English." Please note that for some programs where English is the primary language of instruction, secondary instruction (e.g. a language course) may take place in the host country language. In some cases, there may be a language prerequisite, even with programs where the primary language of instruction is in English.
