MARKETING YOUR INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Panelists will provide opportunities for students to identify and speak about career skills gained abroad, suggest ways to incorporate international experiences into the answers to interview questions, and share strategies for incorporating an international experience into a resume.
INTERNATIONAL CAREERS
Panelists will focus on various careers within the international sphere. Recent alumni will share experiences in the fields of international education, health and public affairs in order to provide students with a variety of opportunities both in the United States and abroad.
GRADUATE SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Panelists studying international issues in US-based graduate schools as well as enrolled in graduate programs abroad will share their experiences in graduate school and advice for choosing the right graduate program to fit career goals.
TEACH AND VOLUNTEER ABROAD
Panelists will share experiences and advice for finding overseas teaching and volunteer opportunities after graduation. Panelists will also give suggestions about what students should do before graduation in order to set themselves apart from other candidates applying for the same positions.
Opportunities Fair
UW-Madison and local organizations focusing on international issues will be participating in a fair. These organizations will be advertising volunteer opportunities, ways to travel or work abroad, and other ways to use your international experience back home
