SIT Refugees, Health, and Humanitarian Action

As of Spring 2017, this UW-Madison study abroad program in Amman, Jordan has been suspended indefinitely.
Offered through SIT Study Abroad, the Jordan: Refugees, Health, and Humanitarian Action program is an approved UW affiliate program. On this program, you will examine firsthand the ongoing humanitarian relief response to the regional Syrian refugee crisis, whle in Jordan and on excursion to Turkey, with special focus on refugee health response.  Explore social challenges refugees face, such as identity crisis, social inclusion, and risks relating to gender.


You will be working closely with both IAP and SIT on this program. You can access the program's main information page through the SIT website to learn more about the academics, housing, excursions and activities, and location.
