Hebrew University of Jerusalem George L. Mosse Graduate Exchange Fellowship

The great historian George L. Mosse, who taught at the University of Wisconsin and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, has left a most generous fund for graduate student exchange between the two institutes. The Students Exchange Program is intended to enable graduate students from UW Madison to spend an academic year at the the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (HUJ) in order to advance their careers and broaden their intellectual horizons.

The exchange program will cover the full costs of an academic year at Hebrew University, including:

-Full tuition and fees
-Travel and dependant allowance
-Research support
-A generous living stipend
-An additional one year of support at the dissertation level upon return to Madison
-Health insurance (CISI)

 


Learning Objectives

IAP has overall Goals and Expectations for Study Abroad Participants, covering the personal, academic and professional aspects of study abroad. Additionally on this program, you can:

Strengthen language skills

Navigate new educational systems, as well as new learning and teaching styles

Observe Israeli perspectives on academic disciplines
