Most Memorable Experience

I travelled in four different countries, climbed Machu Picchu and Glacier Perito Moreno, took classes in a different language, made new friends and found my way around the chaotic city of Buenos Aires. However, some of the best days abroad involved getting on and off the right bus or providing an Argentine with accurate directions. The sense of accomplishment from those little things made the whole experience that much better.

Returned Student Resources

International Academic Programs welcomes you home and hopes your time abroad was rewarding. As you readjust, we are eager for you to share your experiences!

Now that you are back, we encourage you to think about how you will apply the knowledge and skills you gained abroad to your life here in Madison. To help you do so, there are a number of resources available through IAP and through the campus as a whole. We hope you continue this journey you’ve started, not only seeking out international opportunities on campus and connecting with other returned students, but also drawing from your experience as you look to your future endeavors.

Returned Student Profiles
Share your experiences abroad and help us showcase the diversity of IAP study abroad programs and the experiences UW-Madison students have. Filling out a profile is a great way for you to reflect on your time abroad and articulate your experience. Your Returned Student Profile will also become a resource for other students seeking your peer perspective. You may find examples of Returned Student Profiles within the Student Voices section of our individual program webpages.

Grade Processing
